FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE W Ketchup Dreams of a White Christmas
Frustrated presidential candidate Al Gore has become a global spokesman in the effort to curtail manmade global warming, winning an Academy Award, a Grammy Award, and the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts. In a recent interview, Gore stated: “I’m not a scientist.” Gore recently joined forces with Goldman Sachs in lobbying for a massive tax scheme on carbon emissions, designed by former Enron CEO Ken Lay. Independent analysts project that Gore and Goldman Sachs will make billions of dollars trading carbon credits if the tax scheme passes. From the time he left office in 2000, Gore has already increased his net worth from $2 million to over $100 million. Dan Oliver, CEO of W Ketchup, commented: “In A.D. 39, the insane, cross-dressing Roman Emperor Caligula declared war on Poseidon, the god of the sea. We see little difference between Caligula’s war against the ocean and the Democrats’ war against the atmosphere. Of course, the realization that Goldman Sachs and Al Gore will make billions of dollars in spoils reveals the true motivations of the power elite.” Last month, hackers revealed email exchanges between top United Nations climate scientists in which the researchers admit to altering data and threaten physical violence against “climate-change skeptics.” Most climate researchers are paid by grants from government institutions. More than 1,200 limousines and 140 private jets have shuttled global celebrities, including President Barrack Obama, to the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen this week. Obama has promised to reduce American per capita carbon emissions to levels last seen in 1875. His proposed carbon tax purports to raise $700 billion over 10 years, equaling $2,333 for every man, woman, and child in America. During the Presidential campaign, Obama said: “I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.” W Ketchup Chairman Bill Zachary reacted: “It is unconscionable that our President would break a firm pledge to the American people, especially in order to take money from ordinary people to give to bankers and fat-cat politicians. We call on all Americans to defend our sovereignty by urging their representatives to reject any form of climate tax.” W Ketchup wishes all its customers a White Christmas and a Happy New Year!
