FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE W Ketchup Salutes Our Troops and Our Veterans on Veterans Day
Yesterday, Germany announced it intended to pursue criminal charges against former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. W Ketchup Chairman Bill Zachary responded: “It is appalling that Germany would attack the institutional head of a military that protected them from the Communist menace for 45 years. We understand there were those who disagreed with Secretary Rumsfeld’s methods and goals, both of which we strongly supported, but it is outrageous to invent bogus criminal claims.” W Ketchup condemns Germany’s actions, and demands that Germany retract its pathetic attack on our sovereignty. W Ketchup CEO Dan Oliver commented: “From their claims of “universal jurisdiction” for their courts, you’d think Germany had won the First and Second World Wars. We wonder where Germany would be today if American nuclear missiles had not protected them against the Soviets. We wonder where they will be tomorrow if the United States does not sacrifice its blood and treasure in the fight against Islamofascism.” W Ketchup is made for Americans, and is sold only in America. The only organization to which W Ketchup donates money is the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for the children of service members killed in the line of duty. Many of our friends have written to express outrage that we congratulated Nancy Pelosi and her ilk over the results of the election in our previous press release. We think in a democracy the losers and winners ought to be magnanimous. Our positions on the vital issues facing our nation hopefully are clear. In making these comments we meant to make two points: first, to highlight the similarities between the Angry Left and our avowed enemies, and second, to point out that this Republican congress in some ways had lost their conservative principals shared by most loyal Americans. We at W Ketchup believe that it will be by returning to these principles that Republicans will once again lead our country in 2008 and beyond. While it is unpleasant to endure the un-magnanimous gloating of moveon.org and other leftist organizations such as the New York Times, we believe it will make the victory in 2008 all the more fulfilling. W Ketchup is already looking forward to this next election and the future, where America's destiny lies. Founded in 2004, W Ketchup™ is a private company that makes ketchup
