FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE W Ketchup Sides with Reagan against ObamaCare
In 1965 Lyndon Johnson signed Medicare into law. Since then, the federal government’s share of national non-military healthcare expenditures has risen from 6% to 32%. In one of his first policy initiatives, President Obama proposed expanding the public health insurance scheme. He has denied claims he intends to outlaw private insurance, saying: “I think private insurers should be able to compete. They do it all the time. I mean, if you think about it, UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? No, they are. It’s the Post Office that’s always having problems.” Many policy experts believe heavy taxed and regulated private insurance companies would not be able to compete against a subsidized government option. In a 2007 interview, Obama stated: “I don’t think we’re going to be able to eliminate employer coverage immediately. There’s going to be potentially some transition process.” Obama has also stated: “I happen to be a proponent of a single-payer universal plan.” Bill Zachary, Chairman of W Ketchup, commented: “After suffering defeat last summer, congressional Democrats have a new healthcare bill circulating through Congress. They now plan to introduce a public ‘option’ by stealth and hope Americans have become too weary of the debate to notice. We call on all Americans to reinvigorate their opposition to ObamaCare. We can’t afford to have medicine modeled on the Postal Service.” President Obama, during his first ten months in office, has nationalized large sections of the car industry and the banking industry, increasing the federal debt by 12% to $12 trillion. In 2009, the federal government will account for 29% of the entire economy. Dan Oliver, CEO of W Ketchup, reacted: “Reagan closed his broadcast saying: ‘If we don’t [stop this Medicare bill], one of these days you and I are going to spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it once was like in America when men were free.’ Reagan’s prediction of incremental socialism has proved correct. We must stop ObamaCare and we urge all Americans follow Reagan’s example by writing to their senators and congressmen to halt the expansion of socialism.” To order delicious W Ketchup, please click on the link below: W Ketchup donates a portion of every purchase to the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, which helps fund college tuition for the children of America’s fallen heroes.Founded in 2004, W Ketchup™ is a private company that makes ketchup
