W Ketchup Endorses Edward O’Reilly in his Primary Battle Against John Kerry

Eagle Bridge, NY — August 1, 2008 — W Ketchup announced today that it is endorsing former lobsterman Edward O’Reilly in his challenge against failed presidential candidate John Kerry in the Democratic primary to be senator of Massachusetts. It is the first primary challenge Kerry has faced since winning his Senate seat in 1984.

Dan Oliver, CEO of W Ketchup, commented: “We do not agree with any of Mr. O’Reilly’s platform and will be supporting Republican Jeff Beatty in the general election. But, we think Massachusetts would be better off deciding between O’Reilly, a former lobsterman and firefighter, and Beatty, a former CIA official and member of the Army’s Delta Force.”

Senator Kerry has compiled one of the most liberal voting records in the Senate during his 24 year tenure. He is married to Maria Teresa Thierstein Simões-Ferreira Heinz, who controls part of the H. J. Heinz Company and helped fund Senator Kerry’s doomed presidential campaign.

Resting from the strain of his campaign to preserve his seat, Senator Kerry spent last weekend on Nantucket, where he was photographed partying with college sophomores.

Candidate O’Reilly has challenged Senator Kerry to a series of debates, but Kerry’s office has claimed he is too busy to schedule any debates at this time.

Bill Zachary, Chairman of W Ketchup, commented: “At least Bill Clinton had the decency to socialize with interns who were college graduates and of legal drinking age. Kerry has given us a glimpse of what a Kerry Whitehouse would have looked like. Americans can be thankful that this man did not become our commander-in-chief.”

W Ketchup donates a portion of every purchase to the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, which helps fund college tuition for the children of America’s fallen heroes.
