Justice Ginsburg officiated at two same-sex ceremonies in September. Both of Obama's Supreme Court appointees, Justices Kagan and Sotomayor, are rumored to be lesbians. Neither Ginsburg, nor Kagan, nor Sotomayor recused themselves from the Defense of Marriage Act opinion.
